Take-Two CEO Discusses Piracy Risks Ahead of GTA VI November 19 Launch

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has stated that piracy is a "fact of life" for the entertainment industry and that the company is prepared to address it through legal and technical measures if necessary. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games has confirmed a file size of up to 212GB for the title. While physical "code-in-a-box" versions will be available at retailers starting November 12 to facilitate pre-loading, the game will not be playable until the official launch date.
